Christmas concert season is a magical time at Pembina North Community School. Our students work diligently to learn their songs and lines in preparation for showtime. This year, “showtime” is a little different because we are coming to you in video form. You will recognize the format from previous years: the Junior High Drama Class have done a play and our Elementary and Junior High Band students will dazzle you with their musical talents in-between acts. This has been a fun and challenging project.
As always, this production would not be possible without the amazing work of our students.
Thank you to all of our Elementary students for learning their words, actions and instruments for their special numbers.
Thank you to our Band students for their diligence in practicing and learning their musical pieces. They performed so well for our video.
Thank you to the talented teens who worked on our set crew. They created and put together the set and gathered costumes for our cast. They did a wonderful job bringing our play to life. The members of this team were Brianna, Mandy, Jorja, Wesley, Malia, Hope and Abby.
Thank you to our film crew. They did incredible work, handling all the filming challenges with enthusiasm and good humour. They dealt with new-to-them technology, tech glitches, microphones, lighting, sound and many reshoots. The film crew consisted of Lainy, Dayce and Gavin. Gavin also took on the role of Chief Editor of our film. This job is a massive responsibility and he did a marvelous job.
