We are very fortunate to have unlimited use of the Dapp Outdoor Rink for our students every school day during the winter months.

On Thursday, January 25th we will be holding our Annual PNCS Skate-A-Thon in support of the Dapp Outdoor Rink.

Pledge forms will be available for those students who want to help raise money. Funds raised will all go towards the Dapp Community Council who look after the maintenance and upkeep of the rink. We will have prizes for the top individual and family fundraisers,a Snake-Cake for the class that raises the most money and anyone who raises $20 or more will be entered into draws for additional prizes!

We will be making a schedule so all classes will get a chance to be out on the ice to take part in Skate-A-Thon activities. We’ll need help from parents (especially in the younger grades) to get all those skates tied so our kids can enjoy their time out on the ice. If you can help tie skates, let your child’s teacher know (they will communicate the skating time to you).

Our School Council will be on-site throughout the day and will be arranging all of the on-ice activities for the Skate-A-Thon! Please email our School Council Chair, Lisa Lawrence, and let her know if you can help with this part of the event: lisamichellek@hotmail.com
