Athletics

Pembina North Community School was formed as an amalgamation of three area schools: Dapp Elementary, Jarvie Junior High and W.R.Frose School.  All three of these school had a rich history of athletic success.  We are proud to continue this history in our new school.  The PEMBINA NORTH PANTHERS are always ready to compete and we are proud to already display a number of banners in our gymnasium.

We offer the following extracurricular/co-curricular sports for our Junior High Students:

  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Badminton
  • Cross-Country Running
  • Curling
  • Archery
  • Track & Field

Our Grade 6 students also have the opportunity for athletic participation.  They compete with other district schools in:

  • Cross-Country Running
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Soccer

We also have our own outdoor skating rink on the school property.  All grades are able to learn and practice skating skills on our ice.  Our Junior Highs can also take Hockey as an Options Course.
