PNCS Fundraising Association Meeting – Wednesday, May 1 @ 7:00 pm in the School Library

Hello PNCS Families!

My name is Dani Sawchuk, and I am the President of the PNCS Fundraising Committee. I would like to ask all families a couple very important questions!

• Have your children enjoyed a fieldtrip with their class while attending PNCS?

• Do your children enjoy the new playground equipment and soccer nets??

• Do your children enjoy playing after school sports?

• Would your children like to participate in a school wide music/art/fine arts program?

If you answered YES to any of these, then your child has benefited from the work of our PNCS Fundraising Committee!!

We are in desperate need of new faces, and new input for our committee. Without parent involvement in this committee our school is in danger of losing it, and we, as parents will be covering the entire cost of fieldtrips, after school sports, and would not have the new playground equipment and soccer nets that our children enjoy every day. At our last meeting we had a total of 5 parents-5 PARENTS-present out of our whole parent body!! Surely, there are more than 5 children that benefit from the work of this committee!!

Our committee meets only a few times a year, to discuss needs of the school, and ways our committee can help the school provide fun things for our kids such as fieldtrips and playground equipment, sports jerseys, bussing for tournaments and games, and whatever else parents would like our kids to have the opportunity to participate in! We then decide on how we would like to fundraise.  Your input is needed!

Our next meeting (and final one for this year) is May 1^th at 7:00pm in the school library. We will be electing the executive for next year at this meeting, and would LOVE to see some new faces! I will even bring SNACKS!! The future of this committee and the benefits it offers to our children, is dependent on the participation of families with children in ELEMENTARY grades as well as children in Jr.High.
